Poly-Plast d.o.o. of Viškovo has been producing PE100, HDPE, LDPE and PP welding rods for more than 20 years. PVC keder is the second production line.
Welding rod extrusion in Viškovo
Poly-Plast d.o.o., Viškovo 138, extrudes welding rods in PE100, HDPE, LDPE and PP, Ø 3–10 mm with Ø 4 mm as the standard diameter.
The granulates come from Borealis (PE100), Chevron Phillips (HDPE) and GS Caltex (PP) — no recyclate and no fillers.
Rods ship on 10 kg cardboard spools to customers in Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovenia and Croatia.

Our own extrusion lines
Rods are extruded and wound in house: Ø 3–10 mm, standard Ø 4 mm, 10 kg cardboard spool with 40 mm bore.
Materials
PE100, HDPE, LDPE and PP; densities 0.959, 0.955 and 0.90 g/cm³.
Spool
10 kg cardboard spool, Ø 350 × 250 mm, 40 mm bore, palletised for road transport.
Length
Ø 4 mm: ≈ 830 m (PE) / ≈ 880 m (PP) per spool, theoretical.
Colour
Black as standard; other colours on request.

Production process in six stations: incoming inspection of the granulate, extrusion, cooling in a water bath, diameter measurement, winding onto a 10 kg spool, labelling and palletising.
What we produce
Round welding rods in four materials, Ø 3–10 mm, standard Ø 4 mm, on 10 kg cardboard spools.

- For welding PE100 plate and pipe. Granulate: Borealis. Density 0.959 g/cm³.
- HDPE
- For welding HDPE plate, tanks and shafts. Granulate: Chevron Phillips. Density 0.955 g/cm³.
- LDPE
- For welding LDPE sheet and film.
- PP
- For welding PP plate and pipe. Granulate: GS Caltex. Density 0.90 g/cm³.
PVC keder
Black PVC keder Ø 3–10 mm for awnings, tarpaulins, tents and technical textiles.
